The Willows are delighted to announce Robbie Deans as our new President to lead the Club into its next chapter.
Rob needs no introduction being one of Canterbury’s favourite sons and we are honoured to have him at the helm to ensure The Willows keeps its objective of providing schoolboy and schoolgirl cricketers with the best possible opportunities playing, touring & coaching.
The Club has a big season ahead with over 40 schools matches scheduled at the ground with highlights including Pete Fulton’s Canterbury team playing The Willows Development XI on the 20th of October and The Crusaders v The Willows President’s XI on our Father Christmas charity day – Sunday 14th December.
The Willows would like to thank Chairman Paul Rutledge and the board for all their energy and drive to propel the Club forward and we are grateful for their continued commitment for the coming season.
The Club’s AGM will be held this Monday 22 September at 6pm at the Hagley Oval Pavilion.
