Loving God, we gather here tonight in the spirit
of camaraderie.
We give thanks for those present all of whom are so free in sharing their God given talents with the wider community. We remember those who cannot be with us and ask your blessings on them. We ask that you may give us the courage to do what is right like the honourable men mentioned who gave their lives at war for our freedom.
We ask you to bless the food we are about to receive and those who have used their talents to create it. May we be always mindful of the gifts and talents you have given us and strive to use them for the betterment of others.
