The Willows
won by 7 wickets

The toss looked as though It could be an important one to win as the wicket appeared very green. Medbury were asked to bat first and alter a slowish start made a very competitive total of 200 off 46.2 overs. They struggled in the first 10 overs with some demanding bowling from Tom Eade and Chris Seabourne. Mike Satterthwaite got things bark on track for Medbury with a well compiled 54.

Seabourne was the pick of The Willows bowlers with 3/21. The Willows made a confident start with a fine opening partnership of 75 between Andrew Fullerton-Smith and Andrew Robertson. The Willows never looked under pressure and cruised to victory in 45 overs with only three wickets lost. The highlight of the day was an unbeaten 104 by Andrew Fullerton-Smith who paced his innings nicely and batted unbeaten throughout with some great shots all around the wicket.
